My Favourite Spas in Barcelona

Sauna sessions, spa rituals, and cold plunges trendy wellness experiences, especially in Barcelona right now but in reality, they are rooted in ancient Ayurvedic practices.
These rituals help stimulate circulation, support detoxification and balance energy in the body. As we move into Kapha season, energy can feel heavy and sluggish, making this the perfect time for revitalization, cleansing and boosting overall vitality.
Since I’m Turkish, we have similar thermal and cold-water rituals as part of our culture, so I’ve grown up experiencing the benefits firsthand. Here are my top spots in and around Barcelona that I love and recommend.

My favourite spot with thermal pools in different temperatures, hot and cold baths, steam rooms, serene quiet spaces and truly exceptional massage therapists.

A perfect weekend escape for fully switching off and recharging.
I visited Mas Salagros EcoResort in Vallromanes (about 30 minutes from Barcelona) for my last birthday and it was the perfect weekend wellness reset. Surrounded by nature, it features AIRE Ancient Baths with thermal pools, delicious organic cuisine and peaceful nature walks perfect for fully switching off and recharging.
